General Campground Information

CHECK IN/OUT

Check In:
2pm for RV & Tent sites
4pm for all Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins or Airstream Trailers
Early check in is based on availability; Early check in fee may apply.

There must be a responsible person 21 years of age or older to register your site and be on site for the entire stay. 

There is a daily resort fee of $5.75 payable per site/per night for all accommodations, tent and RV sites that will be charged at check in. The daily resort fee will be posted to your account in addition to daily site charges, local and state taxes. This value added resort fee includes the following amenities:  Wifi, swimming pool, recreational amenities & wood delivery.

During non-quiet times, please be respectful of your neighboring campers. Excessive drinking, noise and foul language will not be allowed.

WILDLIFE AWARENESS

Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be on this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash and cooking supplies. Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

RECREATION RENTALS

Bike Rentals:
Fees vary based on bike type & range from $15-$40 per hour.

PROPANE FILL

Propane fills are available during General Store hours.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

RV & Tent:
Cancel 48 hours or more ahead of your check in date and you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee with the balance of your deposit refunded. 

Cabins & Air Stream Trailers:
Cancel 7 days or more ahead of your check in date and you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee with the balance of your deposit refunded. 

All Sites:
If you cancel outside the designated cancellation time for your site you will forfeit the one night deposit amount.

GOLF CART POLICY

Golf carts are permitted on KOA property with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. 
No golf cart rentals are available.

PET POLICY

Deluxe cabins that are pet friendly require a $25 per stay, per pet fee.
Camping cabins that are pet friendly have a $10 per stay, per pet fee.
We do not charge a pet fee on RV and tent sites.

Please remember to clean up after your pet, have them on a leash, and stay with them at all times.

VEHICLE POLICY

1 vehicle is permitted per site. There is limited parking availability on the campground.

NUMBER OF GUESTS PER RESERVATION

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. 
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  • A limit of 6 to 10 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced. That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors. If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.

RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, Glamping Cabins and Airstreams are limited to the maximum occupancy. The number of guests/visitors per site cannot exceed the maximum sleeping capacity of the accommodation. 

Note: If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Your visitors are welcome for $10 per additional adult. Visitors 4 years and younger are free. Keep in mind that parking is limited and is first come, first serve. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours begin at 10pm and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk.

TRASH POLICY

Place bagged trash curbside in the morning by 11am and a team member will be by to pick it up.
Please do not leave trash out overnight or burn in fire rings.

SPEED LIMIT

5 MPH. Please drive cautiously at all times.

AFTER HOURS/EMERGENCY NUMBER

If you arrive after our regular office hours, you will have an envelope with your reservation information at the greeting station.
Once you have your envelope, head to your site and come to the Registration Office before 10am the next day to complete registration.

Lee Oliver

Welcome to beautiful Santa Cruz, coastal camping at it's finest!

Lee Ann Oliver has been in the KOA family since 2013. Lee Ann and the whole Santa Cruz Monterey Bay KOA team are excited to welcome you to the coast of California!   Lee Ann and her husband Jim, started their KOA careers after serving in the US Navy.  Having traveled around the globe, it was time to start exploring the country. KOA was the perfect fit! Whether working at the front desk, housekeeping, recreation and even petting farms, it's the miles of smiles that make each day worth it!  Having worked and managed multiple campgrounds across the country, Lee Ann and Jim and are excited to call California home. 
Lee Ann and Jim are outdoor enthusiasts themselves and enjoy camping, golfing, hiking, biking, riding the trails in their Jeep and spending time with their grandson. You'll also find them raising chickens, gardening and spoiling their pups. Be sure to stop by and say hello! They love meeting campers and ensuring every stay is great!
